If you’re aren’t familiar with us, we are Michigan State’s ultimate club team, and are committed to playing the highest level of ultimate that the college division has to offer.
Michigan State’s ultimate team started in 1971, and continued off and on until the early to mid-2000s.
Michigan State initially had great success in the 70s, where at one point we made it to the World Championships. During the 80s and 90s, the program lost steam, but was revamped in 2001 by Aaron Bongard and Lucious N’ Delicious (that’s his official name).
This revamped team started having great success during the mid-2000s and made it to the National Championships in 2004, 2005, and 2006. The team struggled up until 2012, where they made an appearance at Nationals, finishing 17th.
For the past few years we have been rebuilding the team to get back to a prominent position within the Great Lakes region, and have continued to produce multiple All-Region players over the years. We are extremely excited to climb the ladder of the region, and hope you join us on our journey!
Feel free to look around the website, and continue coming back for more information about the fall and spring seasons. We hope this can become the hub for the latest news pertaining to MSU Ultimate.
